Youth Violence Prevention: A Multi-System Strategy

Richard Greenwald is Partner and Chief Operating Officer of 4-Good Ventures.

Previously, Richard served as a Stoneleigh Fellow in the Office of Mayor Michael A. Nutter, where he worked on a multi-system strategy for youth violence prevention. Previously, his career included roles as Vice President for Program Effectiveness at Public/Private Ventures, Senior Fellow at the Manhattan Institute, Loaned Executive to Newark, NJ Mayor Cory A. Booker, and the first President and Chief Executive Officer of the Transitional Work Corporation. Earlier in his career, Richard served as Vice President at America Works in New York City, as a Management Analyst at the Environmental Protection Agency, and as a Legislative Correspondent for then-Senator Al Gore, Jr. Richard has served on numerous national boards and advisory committees, including the Coalition of Schools Educating Boys of Color and Recycle Force.

Richard holds a BA in sociology from Connecticut College and a master’s in public policy and administration from Columbia University.
